Legacy Ministries International is a multifaceted ministry with a vision to equip all generations to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. The Legacy family of ministries includes the Dayton Christian School System, Legacy Village, and Schindler Banquet Center.

Legacy Ministries International was formed out of the successful ministry of Dayton Christian School System, which has a 47-year history of assisting families by providing pre-kindergarten through grade twelve education with an emphasis on Biblical values and a Christian worldview. Legacy Ministries International extends the discipling ministry of Dayton Christian School System across multiple generations of families as well as across international boundaries.


In 1999, God provided a beautiful 253-acre, 40-building campus strategically located near the cities of Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati, Ohio. This campus, now called The Legacy Center, had been the Ohio Soldiers' and Sailors' Orphans' Home, which was established in 1869 to provide a home for the orphans of veterans of the Civil War. The "Home" as it is still fondly called, was a self-contained community with a farm, dairy barn, hospital, power/heating plant, gymnasium, banquet hall, chapel, and residence halls.

Today, the growing variety of ministries located at The Legacy Center are being used by God to reach generations for Christ.
